Sara Beasley: I am currently a Junior at Auburn University majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Spanish/ Non-profit studies. While volunteering at local elementary schools, I've had the chance to read with low-income students. This experience has contributed to my passion for helping children learn to love reading. With the help of Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) and local reading programs, my goal is to help students in the surrounding areas of Auburn become great readers. My first of many challenges is to build a library for the city of Loachapoka. I am so excited to see how God will make this happen, and I look forward to the support I will receive from the Auburn Family.
